Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's Degree (Bioengineering preferred)
- 2+ years of Biomedical Equipment Technician experience
- Experience supporting laboratory instrumentation
- Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience
Plusses:
- Blue Mountain maintenance software experience
- CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician)
- Regulated healthcare or laboratory environment experience
Day-to-Day:
- Work closely with laboratory staff to support equipment operations
- Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, safety testing, and equipment calibration
- Learn to troubleshoot laboratory and biomedical equipment
- Attend vendor-led trainings to support equipment servicing
- Document maintenance activities and functional test results
- Perform computer data entry and maintain reports and records
- Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Support timely resolution of equipment-related issues
- Maintain and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist senior Biomedical Technicians with departmental responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance requirements

The candidate will work alongside experienced BioMed professionals and vendor partners to learn preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and safety testing of critical laboratory equipment. This individual will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations, ensuring equipment reliability, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders. Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
