Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including preventive, restorative, and emergency dentistry.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, and root canals.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient treatments and progress.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis.
- Strong patient assessment abilities to evaluate oral health effectively.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience in prosthodontics and general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
- Competence in maintaining medical documentation accurately.
- Proficient in using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
- Strong aseptic technique to ensure safety during procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
