Schedule: 5x8 Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday | No Call
About the Opportunity
An established Gynecologic Oncology practice covering in Fountain Valley, CA and Laguna Hills, CA is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to support a Gynecologic Oncologist on a locum contract running through January 2027, with possible extension. This is a tight two-provider team, so the ideal candidate is confident working independently across surgical, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as surgical first assist for gynecologic oncology procedures
- Manage outpatient clinic visits
- Collaborate directly with the supervising Gynecologic Oncologist across a small, close-knit team
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience required
- Surgical gynecologic oncology experience strongly preferred
- Candidates with clinic-only gyn onc experience may also be considered
- Comfortable working independently in a small-team setting
Schedule Details
- 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
- No call required
- Full-time, ASAP - January 2027 (possible extension)
