Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents or guests. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing surfaces to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring all areas meet health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Manage janitorial duties such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and ensuring cleaning equipment is in good working order.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling cleaning routines and coordinating with other staff members for seamless operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or hospitality housekeeping roles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Experience with carpet cleaning, floor care (including polishing), and sanitation procedures is desirable.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience demonstrates a strong understanding of cleanliness standards.
- Hotel experience or working in a customer-focused environment enhances your ability to deliver outstanding service.
- Knowledge of laundry processes and housekeeper management practices is beneficial.
