Staff Pharmacist - Sterile Compounding Pharmacy

We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join a rapidly growing 503A sterile compounding pharmacy. This role focuses on sterile compounding verification, cleanroom oversight, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with technicians, prescribers, and patients to ensure the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final verification of compounded sterile preparations
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness
- Oversee sterile compounding activities and technician workflow
- Maintain compliance with USP <795>, USP <797>, USP <800>, and state regulations
- Support cleanroom operations, environmental monitoring, and quality assurance programs
- Communicate with prescribers, patients, and pharmacy staff regarding clinical and operational matters
- Assist with SOP development and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree
- Active Florida Pharmacist License
- Minimum 2 years of sterile compounding experience in a USP <797>/<800> environment
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, cleanroom operations, and sterile compounding practices
- Multi-state pharmacist licensure or willingness to obtain additional licenses preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
