Medical Assistant, Cardiology
Fast paced cardiology practice is looking for a medical assistant. We see up to 90 patients per day we need someone quick who is able to thrive in that environment and can be a team player. Our ideal candidate must be SELF-DIRECTED, SELF-MOTIVATED, and highly detail-oriented. MUST be proficient in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities and Duties
Check patients in/out
Answer phones
Process referrals
Medication Prior Authorizations
Insurance verification/authorizations
Assesses patients, vitals signs, EKG, and obtain pertinent information as required per visit type. Records accurate information obtained from patient in EHR in a timely manner.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Pleasant phone manner
Excellent organization skills
MUST be proficient in Spanish and English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
