SUMMARY: The Field Service Coordinator maintains inventory and ensures equipment and supplies are provided to the Field Inspection teams on a timely, or as-needed basis. Additional duties include overall coordination of Field Inspector travel planning, scheduling & booking.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a single point of contact for Field Inspectors for equipment, supplies and travelneeds.
- Coordinates and books CS_FI travel arrangements to meet travel requirements asestablished by routing/scheduling teams and/or department or executive management;ensures travel plans are aligned with established policy and cost guidelines.
- Review’s travel schedules and responds to CS_FI team requests to update travelarrangements to correspond with changes to routing/scheduling or departmentmandated plans.
- Provides CS_FI team members with standard equipment/supplies; ensures kits are fullystocked, in good working order and arranges for replacement when necessary.
- Ensure CS_FI team members have the correct equipment (above/beyond standard) tocomplete inspections requiring specialized equipment.
- Arranges shipment of all required supplies/equipment in accordance with policy and costguidelines; works with shippers to investigate and resolve “lost-in-transit” items.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- No prior experience or training.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months relatedexperience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or sixmonths to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
- Computer skills required: Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite.
