Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Pharmacy Delivery Driver and Cashier/Support Associate, where you'll be the friendly face and reliable driver ensuring our customers receive their medications promptly and with excellent service. This role combines the excitement of route driving with the satisfaction of supporting daily pharmacy operations. You’ll be responsible for delivering prescriptions safely, assisting customers at the counter, and supporting the pharmacy team with patient phone calls, payment collection, and preparing packages for UPS shipment. Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver prescriptions and pharmacy supplies to customers’ homes and local medical clinics.
- Prepare packages for UPS shipment and drop off packages to the UPS store daily.
- Follow designated routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules and customer service excellence.
- Assist customers at the pharmacy counter with friendly cashier support, answering questions and processing transactions accurately.
- Support pharmacy staff to contact patients when prescriptions are ready for pickup.
- Contact patients to obtain payment processing information for medications that are to be shipped or delivered.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery updates, route changes, or customer needs.
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or route driving with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong customer service skills to create positive interactions with clients during deliveries and in-store support.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages up to 10 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills for route planning and time management to ensure timely deliveries.
