Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated On-Site Live-In Superintendent to lead and manage the daily operations of our facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency while residing on-site to ensure immediate response and hands-on leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong management , and a proactive approach to facilities management. As the on-site leader, you will be instrumental in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports manufacturing or industrial processes.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and industrial systems, ensuring optimal operation.
- Oversee the implementation and management of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and low/high voltage systems to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Utilize ( System) to schedule preventive maintenance, track work orders, and manage asset records.
- Lead facilities management efforts by ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting inspections, and maintaining facility infrastructure.
- Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, including project management responsibilities for upgrades or repairs.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations or system failures with technical and electrical systems.
Requirements
- Proven management environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical , ohmmeters, and troubleshooting low/high voltage systems.
- (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency with software for maintenance scheduling and record keeping.
- Knowledge of facilities management practices within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively across teams and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety, quality standards, and team development.
- Ability to work independently on-site as a live-in superintendent while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
