Must be fast working as we are a fast pace Dunkin with a lot of orders. Must have time management skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food prep area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Manage food handling responsibilities including portion control, storage, and inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Ensure quick turnaround times during busy hours by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks
- Assist with bussing tables or cleaning workstations to maintain a tidy environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math helps ensure accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Background in culinary arts or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
