We are a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing high-quality residential, day, and support services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated, relationship-oriented Community Outreach & Marketing Specialist to join our team and serve as the primary link between our organization and the healthcare and referral community.
This is a field-based position. You will spend the majority of your time out in the community — visiting physician offices, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, case management agencies, and other referral sources. Your goal is to educate potential referral partners about our services and build lasting relationships that lead to increased referrals and placements for the individuals we serve.

2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, outside sales or community outreach

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with medical professionals

Self starter with the ability to manage a field-based schedule independently

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required

Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office

Background in IDD, behavioral health or long term care services

Existing relationships with discharge planners, social workers, support coordinators or care managers

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Social Work or related field a plus

Experience presenting to groups

Develop and execute a territory marketing plan to grow referral volume from physicians, hospitals, rehab facilities, social workers, and discharge planners

Conduct regular in-person visits, presentations, and follow-ups with referral sources across your assigned region

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of referral partnerships with healthcare providers, case managers, and community organizations

Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, provider meetings, and conferences

Communicate our service offerings clearly and compellingly to medical professionals unfamiliar with IDD care

Track and report outreach activity, referral metrics, and market feedback to leadership

Collaborate with internal intake and admissions teams to ensure a smooth referral-to-enrollment process

Identify new market opportunities and underserved referral channels to drive sustainable growth
