Bocaire Country Club, one of Boca Raton's premier private country clubs, is seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented Part-Time Racquets Professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a teaching professional who enjoys building relationships with members, teaching both tennis and pickleball and working in a welcoming, team-oriented private club environment.
The Part-Time Racquets Professional will work closely with the Director of Racquets to deliver an exceptional member experience while supporting the continued growth of the club's tennis and pickleball programs. We are seeking a polished, energetic professional who is passionate about instruction, member engagement and providing the high level of personalized service our members expect.
Position Overview
The Part-Time Racquets Professional will be responsible for providing high-level instruction, supporting daily tennis operations, and contributing to the overall growth and energy of the racquets program. This individual will play an integral role in enhancing the member experience both on and off the court while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule.
Responsibilities
· Teach private, semi-private and group tennis and pickleball lessons.
· Lead adult clinics, team practices and league activities.
· Build strong relationships with members and encourage participation in racquets programming.
· Assist with tournaments, mixers, social events and club championships.
· Promote lessons and programs to help grow participation.
· Assist with pro shop operations, court scheduling and daily administrative tasks.
· Provide racquet stringing and basic racquet services.
· Assist with light court setup and maintenance to ensure excellent playing conditions.
· Maintain a professional, welcoming presence throughout the club.
Qualifications
· Prior experience as a Racquets Professional in a private club, resort, academy, or similar environment preferred.
· RSPA or PTR certification preferred.
· Strong tennis playing background with the ability to demonstrate sound technique.
· Pickleball teaching or programming experience strongly preferred.
· Experience working with both adults and juniors.
· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
· Positive, energetic and service-oriented personality.
· Professional appearance and demeanor.
· Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and seasonal events.
· College degree or equivalent preferred.
