Job Overview
Schapell Jewelers is looking for an outgoing, motivated Sales Professional to join our team. We are a locally owned fine jewelry store with a long-standing reputation for exceptional customer service, quality jewelry, and lasting relationships with our customers.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and creating a memorable shopping experience. Jewelry experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are happy to train the right person who has a strong sales or customer service background, a positive attitude, and an interest in learning about fine jewelry.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized service to every customer
- Build lasting relationships with new and existing clients
- Assist customers with fine jewelry, diamonds, engagement rings, wedding bands, watches, and gifts
- Follow up with customers and develop strong client relationships
- Work toward individual and store sales goals
- Learn about diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, jewelry designers, and custom jewelry
- Assist with special orders, repairs, and other customer service needs
- Maintain beautiful and organized showcases, showroom and back room
- Work collaboratively with our sales and management team
Requirements
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred
- Fine jewelry experience is helpful but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with a wide variety of customers
- Self-motivated with a desire to grow sales and develop a client base
- Detail-oriented and able to manage customer follow-up
- Willingness to learn and develop strong jewelry and product knowledge
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
