Job Summary:
MIMCO is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the company’s acquisition, disposition, and development activities through financial modeling, debt management, market analysis, and budgeting. This role will play a critical part in providing accurate financial projections, supporting commercial loan activities, and enhancing investment decision-making through research and data-driven analysis. This position exists in a temperature-controlled environment.
Requirements:
Essential/Key Functions:

Produce and maintain accurate & detailed acquisition, disposition, and development pro formas for MIMCO and affiliated entities.

Become an expert with MIMCO’s proprietary Comprehensive Model and utilize ai tools such as Claude Excel plug-in to enhance speediness and comprehensiveness of the pro formas.

Debt Management:
-
Assist in developing refinance strategies, including new lender identification and evaluation of existing lender pool (banks, credit unions, insurance companies, brokers).

Assist SVP of Finance with refinancing loans where the refinancing amount is $5 MM or less.
-
Complete quarterly loan portfolio report for SVP of Finance.

Assist accounting department with inputting debt-related information into Yardi’s debt menu

Market Analysis:
-
Conduct real estate market research, including comparable sales, rental analysis, and investment opportunity identification.

Become proficient with usage of CoStar.
-
Ad Hoc Analysis & Support:
-
Assist SVP of Finance and other management team members with special projects, financial analysis, and investor relations support as needed.

Provide support with Yardi Investment Manager (IM) to SVP of Finance and accounting department
-
Valuations (Seasonal – Oct ~ Dec)
-
Complete Valuations task for MIMCO-affiliated entities.

Reconciliations (Seasonal – Jan ~ March)
-
Assist VP of Acquisitions & Dispositions with annual tenant reconciliation process.

Perform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
-
Comply with MIMCO policies and procedures.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. min
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in real estate financial analysis, or a role that involves underwriting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced modeling skills required.
- Exposure or willingness to learn Claude Excel plug-in.
- Experience or familiarity with Yardi (Debt Menu and IM) preferred.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
