Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Level 3 Security Guard to uphold the safety and security of our premises. This dynamic role involves proactive surveillance, incident prevention, and rapid response to security concerns. The ideal candidate will possess advanced security training, experience in law enforcement or military backgrounds, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment. Your expertise will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and assets through vigilant monitoring, conflict management, and emergency response capabilities.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive CCTV surveillance and monitor security cameras to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Perform thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and staff to ensure authorized access.
- Manage access control points by verifying identification and maintaining accurate logs of all entries and exits.
- Respond swiftly to incidents by assessing situations, managing conflicts professionally, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Execute manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of security equipment or supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize specialized tools such as Taser, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and CPR techniques during emergency situations.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by conducting patrols, inspecting premises for vulnerabilities, and deterring theft or vandalism.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records with precision and clarity.
- Perform routine safety checks on security systems like CCTV and alarm panels; troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Enforce security policies consistently while demonstrating excellent conflict management skills in high-pressure scenarios.
Experience
- Proven experience in a Level 3 Security Guard role or similar position with a strong emphasis on surveillance and incident response.
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CCTV systems, alarm monitoring, and access control technologies.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures including CPR, AED operation, and basic life support techniques.
- Experience performing background checks and managing conflict resolution effectively.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged patrols.
- Familiarity with security equipment such as Tasers, CCTV cameras, AEDs, and other safety devices is advantageous.
