Job Summary
Join a leading architectural products manufacturer in Salt Lake City as a Craftsman Carpenter, earning $20-25/hour based on your finish carpentry experience. Work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, building precision molds and patterns for unique architectural components used in commercial buildings worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Build precision patterns and molds for Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) and architectural products
- Read and interpret shop drawings to create components with exacting tolerances and dimensions
- Operate power tools including saws and precision measurement devices safely and efficiently
- Select appropriate shop equipment and tools for each specific project
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Follow assembly instructions and collaborate with team members in a self-directed environment
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout your shift
- Lift materials up to 75 pounds as needed for project completion
What You Bring
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of basic carpentry experience
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Experience with power tools and working around machinery
- Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day in a manufacturing environment
- Capability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
Preferred:
- Finish carpentry and cabinetry experience
- Experience reading shop drawings and blueprints
- Background in precision manufacturing or architectural products
Schedule & Shift
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Overtime is mandatory when needed.
Pay & Compensation
$20-25 per hour based on finish carpentry experience level. Weekly pay every Friday.
