This position reports to the Owner and is responsible for cleaning, servicing, and chemically treating swimming pools. 3 years of verifiable pool cleaning experience under a licensed Florida Pool Contractor is required. A clean drivers license license is required. If taking a company truck home, technician must reside in Hernando county.
Qualifications: High school graduate or general education degree (GED) required. This job requires high standards relating to the work performed and the image represented. Job success is determined by customer satisfaction and good customer relations. Pool service technicians must be able to communicate politely and complete all work in a timely and accurate manner. The technician must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions, as long as it is safe. Must be a licensed driver in the State of Florida, reside in Hernando County, with a clean driving record.
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Follow up and secure new maintenance accounts using an assigned pick-up truck, pool cleaning equipment, pool chemicals provided by the employer. The associate will clean, service, and chemically treat pools. (Approx 75-85 pools a week to start with more optional)
Completely review paperwork and records.
Completely enter pool service data in electronic records.
Learn different pool systems and operations.
Learn proper pool maintenance procedures.
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: This position requires the associate to be 25 years of age or older, have a high degree of stamina for physical labor, with the ability to work in high degrees of heat and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and often. The associate must be able to stand, bend, stoop, stretch and climb repetitively and often. The associate must have a clean Florida Driver’s License and be able to operate a motor vehicle and have the ability to work around chlorine without an allergic reaction.
Upon hiring you will be given a clean and detailed company truck that can be taken home if residing in Hernando County. After 6 months of consistent employment you will also be given 2 weeks paid vacation. The week of Thanksgiving, and the week of Christmas.
