Community Relations & Business Development Representative
Position Summary
Community Care Rx is seeking a charismatic, energetic, and highly communicative individual to serve as a Community Relations & Business Development Representative.
This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing recent graduate or early-career professional who enjoys meeting new people, attending events, and building meaningful professional relationships. Experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will become a public-facing ambassador for Community Care Rx. This person will represent the company at conferences, networking functions, golf outings, charitable events, client programs, and community activities. The primary focus will be promoting the company, developing relationships, identifying prospective clients, and arranging meetings that may lead to new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent Community Care Rx at networking functions, conferences, golf outings, fundraisers, trade shows, community programs, and client events.
* Serve as a confident, professional, and positive public face of the company.
* Meet and engage with prospective clients, referral partners, community leaders, industry professionals, and decision-makers.
* Introduce Community Care Rx and clearly explain the company’s services and value.
* Identify potential business opportunities and arrange introductory meetings for company leadership and sales representatives.
* Join and actively participate in relevant professional associations, community organizations, advisory groups, and event-planning committees.
* Help identify sponsorship, partnership, and community-engagement opportunities.
* Assist with planning company-sponsored networking events, educational programs, golf outings, and community activities.
* Develop and maintain long-term professional relationships.
* Follow up with contacts promptly after events and meetings.
* Maintain organized records of contacts, referrals, scheduled meetings, and potential business opportunities.
* Work closely with leadership, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure consistent company messaging.
* Attend occasional early-morning, evening, and weekend events.

Education and Experience
* Recent college graduates and young professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
* A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business, healthcare administration, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
* Candidates with relevant experience but without a college degree are also welcome to apply.
* Previous experience in public relations, customer service, hospitality, fundraising, sales, event planning, community outreach, or business development is helpful but not required.
* Training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
* Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, senior care, assisted living, or long-term care is a plus.
* Participation in college organizations, student government, athletics, fraternities or sororities, volunteer groups, fundraising activities, or professional associations is also valuable.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
