Welspun has immediate openings for Industrial Maintenance Technicians with exposure/experience in heavy engineering/steel manufacturing industry.
Welspun's Little Rock facilities are state-of-the-art and are one of their kinds in technology for producing pipes for oil and gas. The Spiral mill has diversified sizes ranging from 24 to 60 inches as outer diameter (OD) and 0.23 to 1 inch as wall thickness (WT), as well as coating and double jointing capabilities, our facilities provide a one-stop solution to valued oil and gas customers in and around the United States. The HFiW 24” mill is a fully automatic and integrated mill capable of producing pipes ranging in diameter 6 5/8th inch to 24” and wall thickness from 0.158” to 0.551” in.
We will be expanding to add an LSAW pipe mill for additional manufacturing capabilities which will be discussed in the interview. Plant expected to go live by September of 2026!!

Job Summary:
Millwrights are responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment, mainly heavy-duty pipe handling equipment such as conveyor rollers, lifting and kick out mechanisms, transfer trollies, etc.... used in the pipe manufacturing process.
MUST have relative experience with industrial size machines for steel pipe manufacturing or a related industry.
· Millwright would be responsible for LOTO, assembly and repair of manufacturing equipment in safe working condition.·
Millwrights would be involved with routine inspections, machine breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, and housekeeping.
· Millwrights must be able to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures, to assemble, dismantle and overhaul machinery and equipment, using hand and power tools.
· Millwrights are required to move, assemble and install machinery and equipment such as shafts, precision bearings, gear boxes, motors, and conveyors. Experience of maintaining hydraulics and utility piping is preferred.
· Millwrights are also involved in routine tasks, such as lubrication of machinery, bearing replacement, seal replacement, cleaning of parts during an overhaul and preventive maintenance.
· Millwrights also must have a good understanding of fluid mechanics (hydraulics and pneumatics), and all of the components involved in these processes, such as valves, cylinders, pumps , HVAC and compressors.
