Looking for a facilities maintenance role with steady weekday hours and plenty of variety? We're hiring an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician II in Kansas City, MO.
This is a hands-on role covering general building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, equipment repair, and facility projects. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with some flexibility needed for projects outside normal hours.

What You'll Do
- Perform general facilities maintenance and basic carpentry
- Inspect the interior and exterior of facilities and identify maintenance or safety issues
- Complete building repairs, maintenance projects, and remodeling work
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Assist with basic HVAC and boiler system maintenance
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical work
- Read blueprints and project plans
- Complete maintenance work orders and remote site visits
- Pull, terminate, and test data lines for the IT department
- Perform basic MIG welding as needed
- Assist with snow removal for buildings and parking lots
- Drive company vehicles between work locations
- Assist with the collection and replacement of biohazard waste containers
- Communicate project and repair status with internal teams
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience
- Experience with HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC and boiler systems
- Familiarity with MIG welding
- Ability to read blueprints and plans
- Comfortable traveling to nearby sites as needed
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Missouri Class E or Kansas Class C license, as applicable
