As a Patient Account Representative, you’ll be the go-to guide for patients as they navigate their financial responsibilities. From breaking down cost estimates to untangling insurance EOBs, you’ll bring clarity, confidence, and compassion to every interaction.

What You’ll Do

Provide clear and accurate cost estimates for clinic visits, surgeries, anesthesia, radiology, and durable medical equipment based on insurance coverage and clinical information

Explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) in simple terms so patients understand their coverage and financial responsibility

Respond to billing questions, research discrepancies, and work with internal teams and insurance providers to resolve issues

Assist with accounts that have outstanding balances and support timely follow-up

Deliver a high level of customer service with professionalism, empathy, and respect

Document all patient interactions accurately in the appropriate systems

Maintain strict confidentiality in all financial and patient-related communications
What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience in healthcare billing, insurance, or a call center environment preferred

Familiarity with medical terminology and patient billing processes is a plus
