Sloan's Ice Cream is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Morning Shift Team Member to join our team! As one of the first faces our customers see each day, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service. From preparing drinks and desserts to assisting guests and keeping the shop running smoothly, you'll help ensure every customer has a great experience.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately using our POS system.
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, ice cream treats, waffles, shakes, and other menu items according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work area throughout your shift.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Assist with opening duties, including preparing the shop for the day.
- Restock supplies, cups, toppings, and ingredients as needed.
- Work efficiently with team members to provide quick and friendly service.
- Answer customer questions and recommend menu items when appropriate.
- Help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the store.
Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling cash and using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Previous restaurant, café, coffee shop, or ice cream shop experience is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train the right person!
