Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are developmentally appropriate and aligned with educational standards
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and sensory experiences tailored for toddlers and infants.
- Foster a nurturing environment that supports early intervention strategies, behavior management, and positive reinforcement techniques to promote healthy social-emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, building strong partnerships that support each child's welfare.
- Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress.
- Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed by maintaining classroom management standards, implementing first aid and CPR procedures when necessary, and adhering to child welfare policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements focused on childhood development instruction, literacy skills, physical education activities,.
- Prior experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting is essential; familiarity with toddler care and infant care is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood education disciplines such as literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education strategies.
- Proven classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child abuse prevention and child welfare policies.
- Experience conducting assessments using standardized testing tools appropriate for early childhood learners.
- Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration; experience working with diverse populations is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required.
- Completion of EEC essentials 2.0 and refresher required

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
