Integrity Plumbing, Heating, AC & Electrical is looking for an experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead our residential plumbing department. Position Summary
The Plumbing Service Manager is responsible for the overall success of the residential plumbing service department. This role oversees technician development, customer satisfaction, daily operations, sales performance, and financial results while ensuring every customer receives a five-star experience.
The ideal candidate understands that successful service departments are built through strong leadership, technician training, operational discipline, and a commitment to doing what's right for the customer.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of residential plumbing technicians.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs, field coaching, and one-on-one performance meetings.
- Drive technician development through ongoing technical and sales training.
- Ensure every customer receives a professional, five-star service experience.
- Monitor and improve average ticket, conversion rates, memberships, and overall department performance.
- Review technician KPIs and provide coaching to improve productivity and results.
- Assist technicians in the field with difficult diagnostics, customer concerns, and sales opportunities.
- Manage daily dispatch priorities to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Hold technicians accountable for workmanship, communication, appearance, and company standards.
- Minimize callbacks through quality control and continuous training.
- Work closely with dispatch, customer service, warehouse, and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new plumbing technicians.
- Conduct weekly team meetings, safety meetings, and ongoing skills development sessions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for the plumbing department.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of residential plumbing experience.
- Previous experience leading or managing plumbing technicians preferred.
- Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems and service repairs.
- Proven ability to coach technicians on customer communication and sales.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience managing KPIs and improving department performance.
- ServiceTitan experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
