We’re looking for a highly organized, quick-thinking Dispatcher to support our expanding fleet of OTR drivers handling interstate moves nationwide. What You’ll Do
- Dispatch and coordinate over-the-road (OTR) drivers operating state-to-state across the U.S.
- Plan, assign, and adjust interstate routes to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries
- Act as the primary liaison between drivers, customers, and internal planners, ensuring clear and consistent communication
- Monitor driver progress across state lines and proactively address delays, route changes, or compliance concerns
- Provide customer service support by addressing and resolving issues that may arise during interstate moves
- Communicate proactively to ensure smooth pickups, transit, and final deliveries nationwide
- Review routes with planners to maximize efficiency, cost control, and driver utilization
- Assist drivers with work order updates, schedule changes, and real-time dispatch instructions
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- Maintain detailed dispatch records, notes, and follow-ups on open tasks and escalations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous over-the-road (OTR) dispatch (required)
- Household goods moving experience (a plus)
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Customer service mindset with problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of U.S. geography and routing
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to stay calm and effective in high-pressure situations
