Child Care Staff Member (CCSM) – LEAD TEACHER
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Lead Teacher serves primarily as a vital part of the teaching team and is responsible for the completion of classroom-level duties & responsibilities. Lead Teachers are required to direct and oversee the completion of documentation, assessments, communication, lesson planning, and direct curriculum implementation as well as custodial support. The Lead Teacher is an important position, requiring connections with students & families that extend beyond the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flexible Availability
- Ability to Lift up to 35lbs Repeatedly (Depending on Assigned Age Group)
- Basic MS Office Knowledge/Ability
- Positive Attitude

- Loving & Caring Disposition
Responsibilities & Duties
- Complete Required Training as Necessary
- Communication with Administration, Faculty, & Parents
- Perform Functions of Lead Teacher (Classroom Management, Education, Supervision)
- Cleaning & Sanitizing of VLC Assets
- Hygienic Needs of Students
- Support Daily Routines & Structures
- Completion of Weekly Lesson Plans
