- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping and other miscellaneous tasks.
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers
- Perform order picking and palletizing tasks
- Use pallet jacks and other equipment to transport materials within the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory tracking
Experience:
- Previous experience operating a forklift, preferably with Hi-Lo or lift truck experience
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on the forklift
- Familiarity with order picking and palletizing procedures
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Experience in shipping and receiving is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
