Summary/Objective
The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
The Process Manager will also contribute to a work environment where fairness, equality, and non-discriminatory practices are the standard.

- Act promptly to correct or eliminate workplace hazards and unsafe conditions
- Comply with and maintain all equipment, process, safety, and management standards
- Manage customer programs from development through production, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met
- Develop quotations in a timely manner and coordinate delivery with the responsible sales agent
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure proper tools, fixtures, and equipment are included to meet productivity, quality, and cost objectives
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to establish control plans (DFMEA, PFMEA, Operator Instruction Sheets, Fixture Operation Sheets, setup sheets, Parameter sheets) and other documents necessary to support operations and the Quality System
- Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for all parts and contribute to the development and design of tooling, fixtures, and machines
- Work with the Customer and Quality Department to ensure prototypes and samples are delivered on time, meeting all customer specifications, with complete and accurate documentation (e.g., PPAP, DLS)
- Conduct process studies and recommend improvements to processes, machinery, and materials to enhance manufacturing and maintenance efficiency
- Participate in the development of the annual business plan, long-range plan, and other action-oriented plans, ensuring departmental plans are completed accurately and on schedule
- Follow established work rules and procedures regarding performance and operational standards
- Maintain clear communication with Production to prevent interruptions or errors, keeping them fully informed of all events affecting plant operations
- Completion and follow up on SMED activities during changeovers
- Ensure and follow the startup, shutdown, and purging procedures of the BMM machines
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility
The Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technicians on shift and supervising the process operations in the BMM and Material Room areas.
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Due to the operational needs of the company, this position requires the ability to rotate between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts every two (2) weeks. Shift rotation is conducted in a fair and transparent manner to ensure equitable workload distribution and consistent coverage across all shifts.
Travel
This position requires travel up to 10% of the time. Travel is primarily local during the business day; however, occasional out-of-town and overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
2. Over two (2) years of experience in process management, manufacturing operations, or industrial engineering
3. Strong knowledge of production processes, process improvement methodologies, and Lean manufacturing principles
4. Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Management
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or continuous improvement programs
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems, automation, and ERP/CMMS tools
- Understanding of quality systems and regulatory compliance standards relevant to manufacturing
