About Thermogard
Thermogard is a fast-growing global business with operations across the USA, Australia and New Zealand. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a detail-oriented US Tax & Compliance Specialist to support our US finance operations on a flexible, part-time basis.
About the Role
Reporting to the VP Global finance, you'll coordinate US tax and compliance activities. Working closely with our external tax advisors, payroll providers and internal finance team, you'll help ensure all federal, state and local compliance requirements are met accurately and on time. This is an ideal role for someone seeking flexible, fractional work.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate US federal and state tax compliance.
- Assist with sales tax, franchise tax and annual state filings.
- Maintain compliance calendars and filing deadlines.
- Support business registrations and entity compliance.
- Assist with tax notices and regulatory correspondence.
- Maintain compliance documentation and reporting.
About You
- 2–5 years' experience in US tax or corporate compliance.
- Knowledge of federal and multi-state tax filing requirements.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
- Experience working in a growing or multi-entity business is highly regarded.
