Education and Experience:

Master's degree and current administrator certificate.

Minimum of three years of school administration experience.

Have established themselves as an educational leader in the profession through active participation in a variety of areas.

Ability to develop constructive relationships with others.

Ability to communicate with others in a systematic and positive manner.
Duties include but not limited to:

Develop a relevant curriculum that fits low performing students' needs and development patterns in alignment with the Charter agreement.

Ensure that all areas of compliance are submitted properly and meet all requirements.

Ensure that all Title 1 programming, reporting, and spending are effective and meet the necessary requirements.

Ensure all aspects of the Special Education department are effective and meet the necessary requirements.

Ensure that the Academy meets and maintains successful accountability ratings under federal and state law.

Ensure that the academic curricula meets all federal, state, and contracted guidelines and requirements.

Assess low performing students, turn around plan results, and action plan monthly.

Ensure that both formal and informal assessments are conducted for students' achievement, staff performance, and curricular goal attainment.

Demonstrate leadership by making any necessary changes to ensure that the students receive a quality education.

Ensure that the academy board policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines are followed.

Identify and apply for grants that support the educational components of the Academy.

Establish and promote cohesiveness and leadership among staff members.

Maintain confidentiality of all district information.
