Assistant Director of Security (ADOS)
Reports To: Director of Security
Status: Salaried ($25/hour)
The Assistant Director of Security supports the Director of Security in overseeing all security operations, personnel, and emergency preparedness functions for the client property. Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment 24/7, the ADOS assists with staff supervision, incident management, training, scheduling, reporting, payroll administration, and compliance with company policies and site security plans. In the absence of the Director, the ADOS assumes leadership of daily security operations and serves as the primary liaison with client management and external emergency services.
Build and maintain relationships with property management, tenants, law enforcement, fire services, and the public.
Support recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development of security staff.
Decision-Making Authority
Exercises sound judgment within established policies and procedures, responds to emergencies and critical incidents, and promptly notifies leadership of significant security events.
