Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive, highly responsible, and experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is 100% based at our new facility in Moonachie, NJ. We are offering both Full-Time and Part-Time positions to help launch and oversee our newly completed freezer and warehouse area. Since you will often be managing the NJ site's daily setup and receiving operations, we need someone who is exceptionally trustworthy, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Inspection: Unload, inspect, and document incoming raw ingredients and material deliveries at the Moonachie facility, ensuring all items meet quality and quantity requirements.
- Forklift Operation & Storage: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to organize and store materials, specifically managing inventory moving in and out of our newly built freezer and cold-storage units.
- Independent Facility Oversight: Responsibly manage daily warehouse activities, maintain safety/cleanliness, and keep the Moonachie site organized.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare, pack, and stage shipments according to pickup schedules and shipping timelines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, clean records for all receiving, storage, and shipping activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations (experience in the food, beverage, or bakery industry is a huge plus).
- Forklift Certification: Must hold a valid forklift certification with strong experience operating stand-up/reach trucks safely (Cold-storage/Freezer experience is highly preferred).
- Autonomy & Trustworthiness: Proven ability to work independently, stay on task, and manage facility operations responsibly without direct supervision.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods, including inside cold/freezer environments.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
