In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing daily activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development tailored to infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive care by feeding, diapering, and comforting children throughout the day.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for young learners.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, music, and other age-appropriate activities that stimulate growth and curiosity.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to monitor developmental milestones and document progress.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's day-to-day experiences and developmental updates.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Experience with classroom management techniques suitable for young children.
- Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families.
Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
