Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant General Manager / Director of Sales (AGM/DOS) to lead our hotel team's daily operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your duties will include:
- Supervising and managing all hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams
- Implementing and enforcing hotel policies and procedures
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Managing hotel reservations and ensuring accurate room assignments
- Monitoring and maintaining hotel inventory, including supplies and equipment
- Collaborating with the sales and marketing team to maximize revenue opportunities
- Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards
- Managing human resources functions such as hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Overseeing night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Implementing effective revenue management strategies to optimize hotel profitability```Requirements```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- Proven experience in hotel management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, housekeeping standards, and maintenance requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically- Familiarity with phone systems and reservation software
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of human resources practices and employment laws
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
