Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join the team at our Together for Health Dental Honesdale office. The role focuses on delivering outstanding patient care while providing preventative dental hygiene care.
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct oral health assessments

Review medical and dental history

Remove plaque, calculus and tartar
-
Recommend oral hygiene instructions to improve patient's oral health

Apply fluoride and sealants and take radiographs to review for dental disease

Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
-
Administer local anesthetics when necessary
-
Assist the dentist during examinations, communicate treatment plans and schedule next visits.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree from a (2) year, specialized dental program at a community college or university.

Licensing in Dental Hygiene from the State of Pennsylvania is required.

Maintain certifications in x-ray and CPR.
