Responsibilities:
- Assist with ADLs and personal care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulation, and transfers
- Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits
- Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
Preferences/Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a CNA program or have a CNA license, OR
- Must have at least 10 years experience as a caregiver
- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
- Required: Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
- Required: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
- Required: Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Required: Must be able to safely manipulate 300+ lb patient.
- Required: Must have reliable transportation
- Required: Must be CPR Certified
- Required: Must have negative TB screener form, skin test, or chest x-ray
