What you’ll be doing:
- Execute daily crude oil scheduling activities across truck, rail, and pipeline movements in the Rockies region, ensuring compliance with contracts, nominations, and operational constraints.
- Coordinate directly with producers, purchasers, pipelines, carriers, terminals, and railroads to confirm volumes, timing, quality, and delivery locations.
- Monitor nominations, confirmations, and actuals; proactively resolve scheduling variances, delays, or disruptions.
- Track and manage storage balances, linefill positions, and in-transit volumes to avoid imbalances, penalties, or unnecessary costs.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for movement status updates and execution issues, communicating clearly and confidently with commercial and operational teams.
- Reconcile tickets, meter statements, and movement records to ensure volumes are accurate and properly actualized.
- Support month-end close and settlement processes by delivering timely, accurate shipment data to Accounting and Settlements.
- Build and maintain simple, effective analytical tools and trackers to evaluate logistics costs, execution efficiency, and scheduling performance.
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience building analytical models and operational tools.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external counterparties.
- Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as required by 24/7 crude oil operations.
