Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Associate / Keyholder for a full-time position at our retail location in <LOCATION>. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills, retail management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a keyholder, you will play a vital role in supporting store operations, managing sales activities, and leading a team to achieve business goals. Duties
- Lead daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures as a keyholder
- Drive sales through effective customer engagement, upselling, and product knowledge
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising to ensure attractive displays
- Oversee cashiering functions including cash handling, POS transactions, and register accuracy
- Supervise team members by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Assist with employee orientation, interviewing potential candidates, and participating in recruiting efforts
- Maintain organized records of sales, inventory control, purchasing, and bookkeeping tasks
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store traffic and sales
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store procedures
- Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone etiquette and in person
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles with leadership responsibilities such as assistant manager or keyholder positions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math calculations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, and store presentation techniques
- Experience in recruiting, employee training & development, payroll administration, and bookkeeping is desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities including supervising teams and managing shift operations
- Strong negotiation skills along with customer service expertise to enhance client satisfaction
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform retail math calculations confidently
- Organizational skills for stock management, inventory control, purchasing decisions, and budgeting tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to retail management is a plus
