Responsibilities:
This position offers a mix of clinic-based patient care and hospital responsibilities, working closely with Physician and the medical team.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide primary and specialty health care under the direction of the physician

Conduct patient histories, physical assessments, clinical evaluations, and interpret findings

See new patients in clinic and manage follow-up appointments

Perform hospital rounds and evaluate new patient consults

Complete histories and physicals (H&Ps), discharge summaries, and clinical documentation

Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and reports
-
Respond to the physician's pager calls while the physician is in procedures, as directed

Build strong relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the medical staff

Collaborate with the physician and care team to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner: National certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care (AG-ACNP) or Acute Care recognized by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of an ARC-PA–approved program with a current Oklahoma PA license.
Clinical Nurse Specialist: Completion of an Oklahoma Board of Nursing–approved CNS program with national Acute Care certification recognized by the Board.
Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required.
Experience: Cardiology experience preferred.
