A growing and well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee production, safety, quality, and workforce development at one of its production facilities.
This role will lead daily manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement across production, maintenance, and supply chain functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving operational performance, maintaining regulatory compliance, and building a strong production team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Manufacturing Operations
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations and production activities
- Manage production schedules, staffing, and workflow efficiency
- Ensure production targets and operational metrics are consistently achieved
Production & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate raw material procurement and finished product distribution
- Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and commercial teams
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and safety standards
Safety, Maintenance & Quality
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime
- Maintain compliance with food safety and quality systems such as GMP and HACCP
- Promote a strong workplace safety culture
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop production and operations staff
- Support hiring, training, and performance management
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Operational Improvement
- Monitor key operational metrics such as efficiency, yield, and output
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Communicate operational performance with senior leadership

Qualifications
Required
- Experience in manufacturing or production operations leadership
- Knowledge of safety and production processes
- Experience with food safety or regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Proficiency with standard business software tools
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field
- Experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, HACCP, SQF, or OSHA
- Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems
Work Schedule
- Full-time leadership role supporting manufacturing operations
- Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on production needs
Work Environment
This role works onsite in a manufacturing environment and office setting and may involve walking production floors and working around industrial equipment while wearing appropriate safety PPE.
