Experience is NOT required for the trainee position. Work ethic is.

What we cannot teach is attitude, accountability, urgency, or the willingness to work.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll perform residential HVAC maintenance and assist with service-related work throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Depending on your experience level, you'll learn and perform:
- Residential AC maintenance
- System inspections
- Coil and drain maintenance
- Electrical component inspections
- Airflow and temperature checks
- Basic HVAC troubleshooting
- Identifying system deficiencies
- Documenting equipment conditions
- Communicating findings to homeowners
- Maintaining professional jobsites
- Following Heatwave's service and maintenance procedures
Trainees will work through our training process and earn additional responsibility as they demonstrate competency.

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida conditions
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of residential HVAC work
- Professional appearance and communication
- Willingness to learn and follow company processes
- Dependable attendance
- Positive, accountable attitude
HVAC experience is preferred for technician candidates but not required for trainees.
Trade school graduates are encouraged to apply, but a certificate without work ethic won't impress us.
