ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but are not limited to):

Conduct regular and systematic review of Medicaid and program documentation to ensure timeliness and meets quality expectations

Conduct utilization review to improve quality of care / program

Develop reports of findings and recommendations and communicate to supervisory staff

Track, monitor, and measure the annual quality performance of the program and develop recommendations based on annual changes
-
Identify staff training needs through auditing activities
-
Support clinical directors and supervisors to create systems and processes that facilitate achievement of quality assurance goals and continuous quality improvement
-
Assist in the development of appropriate recreational and community activities for the consumers
-
Adhere to cultural competency and anti-discriminatory practice
-
Input individualized goals for consumers in electronic system according to the ISP
-
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Understanding of Medicaid regulations
-
High level of attention to detail
-
Ability to write and understand progress notes
-
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to successfully collaborate with staff throughout the agency
-
Associates Degree or college credit
-
One year’s experience supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities or related field and credits toward college degree preferred
-
Experience with Foothold technology program or similar Electronic Health Records
