We're hiring a Relief Driver (Route Driver) to support our service team by covering assigned routes when regular Route Sales Representatives are unavailable. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on delivering clean products, picking up used goods, keeping routes organized, and making sure customers receive dependable, professional service every time. This is an active, route-based role for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently. We need a steady do-er who can learn different routes, follow established service standards, solve customer needs professionally, and keep the day moving with accuracy and urgency.
What You'll Do
- Deliver rental and direct-sale items to customers and pick up used goods according to route expectations.
- Cover assigned routes when the regular Route Sales Representative is unavailable.
- Provide accurate, efficient service while meeting customer expectations and company standards.
- Travel to other Maurer’s branches when needed to provide route relief.
- Review and update route cards, support inventory control, and communicate route or service issues to management.
- Keep customer uniform areas organized, stocked, labeled, and ready for service.
- Respond to customer needs with urgency, professionalism, and a service-minded attitude.
- Build positive relationships with customer contacts, uniform wearers, and decision makers.
- Identify service opportunities, sales leads, add-ons, catalog needs, and other ways to support account growth.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and follow all company policies and service best practices.

What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Chauffeur’s License and MDOT Medical Examiner’s Card required when applicable.
- Ability to meet applicable Federal Motor Carrier Driver Qualifications.
- One or more years of route delivery experience preferred; textile rental industry experience a plus.
- Ability to work full-time and overtime as needed.
- Ability to perform repeated physical tasks, including bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting at least 50 pounds repetitively, and pushing wheeled carts up to 900 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
- Ability to operate motor vehicles and specialized equipment as required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
