Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and preventative care for patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative dental care
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Conduct patient assessments, including charting and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols using aseptic techniques
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Dentrix Ascend software knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and the dental team
