Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Human Resources (HR) Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting our organization's HR functions. Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media management and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms like iCIMS or Workday.
- Support onboarding and employee orientation initiatives to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry and manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) records, including data collection and benefits administration details.
- Contribute to performance management processes by coordinating employee evaluations, training & development programs, and succession planning activities.
- Help manage employee relations by addressing inquiries, supporting conflict management efforts, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and Workers' Compensation regulations.
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including leave management such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), and support benefits-related communication strategies.
- Support HR projects related to organization design, change management initiatives, affirmative action planning, and strategic workforce planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles with familiarity in HR sourcing, data entry, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, Workers' Compensation policies, and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Bamboo is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in data collection and record keeping.
- Familiarity with recruiting tools will be advantageous.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment; experience with change management is a plus.
