About Us
Essential Essentials is a growing, family-owned e-commerce company based in Katy, Texas. We sell products across multiple major online marketplaces. We operate out of a highly organized, tight-knit facility (under 1,000 sq ft) and have a fantastic team, both locally and internationally!
The Reality of the Role (Please Read)
We are looking for a Lead Warehouse & Fulfillment Coordinator to be the heartbeat of our local operation. Because our warehouse is small and highly efficient, this is a very hands-on role.
We need a leader who can confidently manage admin duties and coordinate with our overseas team, but who is also happy to roll up their sleeves and lead by example on the floor. To round out your 40-hour week, you will seamlessly transition from computer work to building and shrink-wrapping pallets, or even sitting at a station to bubble-wrap and poly-bag products. If you are a team player who loves variety in your day and wants to escape the grueling 10-mile-a-day walk of a massive mega-warehouse, you will thrive here!
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Leadership: Take ownership of the warehouse floor. Ensure all Amazon (FBA), Walmart (WFS), and standard orders are prepped, packed, and shipped properly and on time.
- The Heavy Lifting & Packing: Build, break down, and shrink-wrap pallets. When admin work is caught up, you will handle standard fulfillment tasks: picking, bubble wrapping, poly-bagging, and packing boxes.
- Admin & Inspections: Complete meticulous daily Incoming Inspection Reports (IRRs) for arriving inventory, checking expiry dates, and verifying inbound data.
- Team Coordination: Act as the bridge between the Texas warehouse and our remote team. Jump on Google Meet calls to communicate inventory updates and resolve discrepancies.
- Quality Control: Ensure ASINs, UPCs, and shipping labels are applied flawlessly. Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Tech-Savvy (Required): Highly proficient with Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, and Google Meet for video calls). You must be comfortable on a computer.
- Physical Capability (Required): Must be able to comfortably and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs, build pallets, and stay active on your feet.
- Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to accurately count inventory, track dates, and match complex alphanumeric barcodes without errors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse, inventory, or e-commerce experience is required. (Experience with Amazon FBA or Walmart WFS is a huge bonus, but we will train the right person!)
- Language: Conversational Spanish is a huge plus for coordinating daily shipments.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Professional development assistance
Application Question(s):
- When was the last time you worked?
- The pay range for this position is between $15 and $18 an hour. Does that range work for you?
- Do you understand this is a true hybrid role? (Half the time you’ll be on a computer using Google Workspace, and the other half you’ll be on the floor doing physical labor like lifting 50 lbs and building pallets. Are you comfortable with that?)
- Have you ever used Google Sheets & Google Workspace for work before? if so, explain
- If hired, would you be able to pass a background check without any issues?
