Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and packaging machinery efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Assist with materials handling, including heavy lifting and warehouse operations, to ensure timely supply of raw materials and finished goods.
- Interpret production documents accurately to support assembly, packaging, and quality control activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on industrial equipment using hand tools and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
- Support warehouse operations by operating material handling equipment like forklifts safely and effectively.
- Follow all safety standards in production, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety protocols during all tasks.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is highly preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and documentation interpretation.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to operate packaging equipment and material handling tools safely.
- Familiarity with GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and manufacturing standard operating procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout shifts.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is desirable.
- Strong attention to safety protocol adherence and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
