Animal Crossing Veterinary Hospital is seeking 2 veterinary receptionists to join our growing team in Floresville, Texas. We are a multi-doctor, privately owned, state-of-the-art, full-service veterinary hospital proudly serving Floresville and the surrounding communities. As our hospital continues to grow, we are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated veterinary receptionists that are passionate about patient care and thrive in a collaborative team environment. - Must be available as early as 7:25 AM Monday–Friday
- Must be available to work until 6:00 PM or later Monday-Friday
Position Summary
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for our clients and their pets. You will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, communicate with pet owners, and support our veterinary team in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
- Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to client inquiries
- Check patients in and out of appointments
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Update and maintain patient medical records
- Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and clients
- Assist with prescription refill requests and client follow-ups
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Provide outstanding customer service during both routine and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary, medical, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Comfortable working with animals and their owners
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with scheduling software
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
