Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to promote holistic child development.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management and classroom management strategies that encourage cooperation and respect among children.
- Support children’s social-emotional growth by facilitating activities that enhance communication skills, emotional regulation, and peer interactions.
- Conduct regular assessments of child development progress using standardized testing tools and document observations to inform individualized lesson planning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns regarding child welfare or behavior.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, early intervention strategies, special education needs, and inclusive practices for diverse learners including toddlers and children requiring additional support.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; familiarity with toddler care and early childhood education standards is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, classroom management, and childhood development principles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional credentials in special education or Montessori teaching are advantageous.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and sensory activities aligned with developmental milestones.
- Experience implementing early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays is preferred.
- A proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe, nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and positive learning experiences.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
