Responsibilities:
Must be Quickbooks familiar.
- Maintain and balance the general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes/taxes.
- Prepare and submit tax forms and returns (for multiple states).
- Payroll for multiple states - bi-weekly.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic financial concepts and accounting principles.
- Proficient in using accounting software (QuickBooks and Excel).
- Experience with general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends or discrepancies in financial data.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
